All notable changes to h2o-zig are documented in this file.

Release versions use the date-based format v0.YYYYMMDD.N. YYYYMMDD is the UTC release date, and N distinguishes multiple releases on the same day.

The version identifies when a release was cut; it does not communicate API compatibility. Check the notes below for breaking changes warnings.

Unreleased

  • Install one bundled libh2o-evloop.a instead of separate TLS and wslay archives. The public include tree now contains the selected TLS and wslay headers.

  • Package H2O’s built-in-event-loop server as a position-independent static archive for embedding in shared libraries.

  • Support HTTP/1, HTTP/2, QUIC and HTTP/3, Brotli, and Zstandard.

  • BoringSSL as the sole TLS backend.

  • Support optional AEGIS ciphers.

  • Support x86-64 and AArch64 Linux and macOS targets with Zig 0.16.0.
